Architectural Statement

Defining qualities of NXG’s approach to this dynamic field are centered both in the practical fundamentals as well as in the philosophical realm.

The primary architectural responsibilities are intertwined in the whole effort; to satisfactorily serve a client’s needs and goals, to accomplish this with appropriate material and environmental ethics, and finally, to accept this challenge with artistic vision.

To achieve these ideals in an aesthetic design that clearly reflects the client’s sensibilities, with careful attention to building economics, environmental awareness and with an eye toward the collective balance, health and spirit of our community.

Architects are uniquely suited to this charge, as we are by nature generalists, not specialists. Trained through life and academic experiences to appreciate the great and wonderful diversity of our physical environment.

Our field of practice begins as this physical world joins our inner realm of dreams, talent and inspiration. Ultimately, these are the skills that are collectively offered to our individual clients as well – to nurture their needs, activate their hopes and express their aspirations.
